Social Media Marketing is different than traditional marketing. It’s not about just posting and sitting back and waiting for potential customers come to you. We have all heard this from many people in the Social Media world, because many brands and small businesses feel it is just a way to post information about a sale or they are their to help them with their service. Time is the number one issue people and companies feel that they can not give up to run a social media strategy campaign.
The issue is that if you are going to run a marketing campaign at all, you have to have a strategy. Setting up this strategy is time, designing the strategy is time, and creating the content for the strategy is time. So time is being used either way, ut with if you broke down your marketing into four areas. I call this the Bullseye Affect. Each ring means a different target of your marketing niche.
All the rings of the Bullseye theory are important. They run together at the same time. In fact, they need to always be working together. As you take inventory of your email lists or your contact management system, you should always be categorizing the potentials of the leads.
As for your Social Media Marketing content, your posts should be designated in these four categories also. Whether it is Facebook Ads, Live Streams, Memes, Graphics, Videos, or Blogs, you should always have posts that handle all the rings of the bullseye. It is just like any of your marketing efforts, you need to bring people through your cycle: Awareness, Consideration, Trust, and Purchase.
So as you create your content for your Social Media channels, keep all this in mind. Create content at different levels. This will help you to show the different levels you can help potential customers and it will also help customers at different levels relate to you.
How do you relate to the different levels of the cycle on Social Media? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
