Everyone hears people say “Build Your Brand”. Well first things first, YOU are your Brand! Secondly, how do you build the marketing strategy to make your Brand stand out? Lego’s are the perfect way to think about your brand, especially, when it comes to using Social Media.
Remember when you were a kid and Lego’s were the greatest thing ever? Well, they still are. But think about it, you were able to build what you wanted and then use it. Then you could take it apart and rebuild it again in another way. This is just like your business with the use of Social Media. As you are looking ahead each year and planning your marketing or your services, you can always re-build like Lego.
Each piece of Lego is like a different component of Social Media. Just like there are different colors, there are different ways to post on the different platforms.
So now let’s look at your Social Media Strategy: Videos, posts, pictures, questions, contests, collages, Memes tweets, blogs, and more, are all your pieces of Lego. You interlock them all and make your strategy work for you. The best part about it is that you can interchange the pieces. If it is not working for you, then break it down and rebuild it.
Social Media is an ever changing organism. It has updates and changes all year round. So you might have to change your pieces as it changes. And that’s OK, just take the piece out that isn’t working and put another in its place.
So when you are looking at Social Media, think of Lego’s, and then you can start making the fun.
Listen to your surroundings of the people you are trying to reach out for, and use those pieces of Lego’s to reach them.
